G35/350Z REV-11 Upgraded Lower Plenum | VQ35DE

The REV-11 is the ultimate lower plenum upgrade for the VQ35DE engine. Designed to correct the airflow shortcomings of the factory design, this plenum delivers a smoother, more balanced airflow across all six cylinders. The result is stronger midrange torque, faster throttle response, and real horsepower gains you can feel whether your car is stock or tuned.

At the heart of the REV-11 design is its reshaped intake horns. The two front horns are precisely shortened by 11 millimeters, while the four rear horns are shortened by 4 millimeters. This ensures the front cylinders — which in a stock VQ35DE are plagued with air starvation due to the downward slope of the OEM plenum — now receive the airflow they need for efficient combustion at the mid range.

But the improvements go further. The entire lower plenum, including the runners, is ported and polished for smoother airflow and greater intake volume potential. The horns are lightly polished to reduce turbulence, ensuring air flows evenly and efficiently through the manifold. Every REV-11 plenum is also finished with a thermal-resistant ceramic coating, which makes a significant difference in intake temperatures. Unlike the raw aluminum design that easily transfers heat from the lower runners into the upper plenum, the ceramic coating acts as a barrier against heat soak. This keeps intake air temperatures cooler, improving performance consistency and power delivery even under extended driving or high-heat conditions.
