Our VR30 High-Capacity Heat Exchanger is a premium performance upgrade designed to address the common heat soak issues found in factory Q50 and Q60 intercooler systems. This unit more than doubles the surface area and provides over three times the coolant volume of the OEM heat exchanger, significantly improving thermal efficiency under high load and repeated boost scenarios.

Built for both daily driving and track use, this cooler helps maintain consistent intake air temperatures, resulting in reduced timing pull, improved turbo efficiency, and better overall engine performance. On average, you can expect charged air coolant temperatures to stay around 15°F above ambient during normal driving, and intake temps to remain just 25–30°F over ambient even under sustained boost.

Designed as a direct bolt-in solution, this heat exchanger can be mounted in either front-mount or in-bumper (OEM-style) locations. For the easiest DIY installation, the in-bumper configuration is the most straightforward, though proper system bleeding is critical to ensure optimal performance.
